Last Night Sleeping at 1722 For One Year MP

Tonight is our last night sleeping in our home for over one year. Tenants move in on July 1st so we are couch surfing for the next week and a bit until we fly from Toronto on July 9th.

The kids have many emotions associated with our next adventure. They feel sad saying good-bye to friends and family. But, are mostly happy and excited for all the fun planned adventures.

We are renting the house furnished. We've cleared out most of our personal belongings and Lynn's mom has graciously allowed us to store many boxes in her basement. Our home is near empty. 

Corolla Sold MP

Tonight a nice couple from Midland and their dog drove down to London and bought the Corolla. Can anyone drive me to school until June 30th?

Bye bye you sexy Corolla. I hope you are as good with your new owners as you were for us.

Three Weeks Until Flight MP

Three weeks until our flight to L.A.

Two weeks until we move out and renters move in.

 

Busy times. Exams start this week. Schools ending and we're packing!

L.A. for 4 nights is fast approaching

Itinerary!

Day 1 - land at 9:30 AM, hotel and Disneyland

Day 2 - Rented car to beach - Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach, rent bikes

Day 3 - Bus Tour - Hollywood and Beverley Hills

Day 4 - Disneyland

Day 5 - Disney and fly to Auckland

Both of our vehicles are officially for sale. Posted to Kijiji and SwapShop last night...

 

 

Four Approved Visas MP

Four passports with four approved visas.

 Visas arrived today for Siena, Jonah and Lynn.

Funny thing about the visas, my work visa is specific to teaching secondary school in NZ. Lynn and the kids visas are based upon mine so you might think that Lynn's work visa would be more restrictive then mine. Nope, Lynn's visa supports her to work any job in NZ. 🤗

Jonah and Siena have Student Visas that allow them to attend Primary School. Yay!!!

I don't think they know that they will need to buy a uniform to attend school!
