New Zealand Trip With The Phillips Family JP

In exactly 6 months my family and I (the Phillips family) will be in Toronto and in a hotel traveling to Disneyland. We will go to Disney for 3 days and then after that we will get on a plane to go to New Zealand!! We will be in New Zealand for 1 year and have lots of time for adventures. Also my sister, Siena and I, don't even know what fun stuff there is to do for adverntures so we are going to be learning new things all along the trip. Anyways all my family is excited for the trip and hopefully everything goes alright. I will talk to you in New Zealand. For now,  I say goodbye.

Before I go away SP

Six months until I go to New Zealand but I will be in a hotel than we wake up at 2:30 AM and drive to the airport. My family and I are going to Los Angeles.  We are going to Disneyland and we are staying for 2 or 3 days there. I would love to go to Hollywood. While we are there we might go hiking when we are hiking we could go rock climbing but I don't climb often so I might bring a piece of paper and pen to write all the animals that I see. In New Zealand I would LOVE to swim with dolphins because they are one of  my favourite animals but I do have more favourite animals.

Plane Tickets Purchased

Yesterday we purchased plane tickets for our year long adventure. The dates for our return leg of the trip are too far away to book with any airline so we have them "pencilled in" and will change dates when they become available.

We plan to fly from Toronto to LA and visit Disneyland and parts of California for four days and then fly to NZ. We plan to spend approximately 9 months in NZ teaching and adventuring!

Then we plan to travel to Australia to visit friends and travel. Finally, we'll travel to Fiji for 7 to 10 days and be back to Toronto in early July 2018.


Lynn and I continue to complete the necessary paperwork to become eligible to teach in NZ. We plan to send these documents to New Zealand Immigration this weekend.

Today, I think we'll be taking pictures of our home so we can post it on Sabbaticals.com so we can rent it from July 2017 to July 2018.

The kids are excited for this family adventure. We hope to make many lasting memories together as we travel!
